About the site

Our site is devoted to The Biomedical Center, which is one of the leading organisations in Russia working in the field of AIDS research.

The Section ”About the Center" provides detailed information about the main spheres of research performed at the Center, as well as about the history of its foundation and development.

Since 1993, The Biomedical Center has been organizing annual conference on AIDS, Cancer and Public Health which coordinates efforts of scientists, professionals, activists, governmental and non-governmental organisations to solve problems related to HIV/AIDS. In the Section "Conference", you will find information on the topics of different conferences.

Since 1997, The Biomedical Center has been publishing the Russian Journal "AIDS, Cancer and Public Health". Research papers cover problems of HIV/AIDS from molecular biology and epidemiology to narcology and human rights.

The Sections "Journal" and "Archive" contain papers published during the period of the Journal’s existence. The papers are presented in pdf format. You can download "Acrobat reader" for viewing the pdf files.
