The Russian Journal "AIDS, Cancer and Public Health"

Russian journal «HIV/AIDS and Related Problems» was founded as a response to the need for information exchange among specialists in different aspects of the HIV/AIDS problem. The journal has been published since 1996. Since 2005, the Journal changed the title and was called Russian journal «AIDS, Cancer and Public Health».

Russian journal «AIDS, Cancer and Public Health» is a periodical which gives space for publications in different areas, from molecular biology and epidemiology to narcology and legal issues, provided that such content contributes to the problem of HIV/AIDS, cancer and public health.

The diversity of published materials in the journal suggests that it is not possible to use strict and uniform layout requirements. The journal includes both completed original works and reviews. The section «Messages from AIDS Centers» presents particular aspects of everyday work conducted in the field. In addition, the section «Experience Exchange» publishes the most interesting letters on arguable issues of current activities against the spread of HIV. Information on past and future conferences, congresses, political events, etc., is given in the section «Events and Comments». Expert point of view is given in the section «Opinions».
